THE TOWNSHIP OF ALNWICK/HALDIMAND
IS SEEKING VOLUNTEERS TO SERVE ON VARIOUS
BOARDS AND COMMUNITY ENHANCEMENT COMMITTEES

The Corporation of the Township of Alnwick/Haldimand is currently seeking applications from residents of the municipality who are interested in serving the community as a representative to any of the following Boards and Community Enhancement Committees:

Heritage Alnwick/Haldimand and History of Heritage Cemeteries
Vernonville Community Centre
Fenella Community Centre
Alnwick Civic Centre
Alnwick/Haldimand Community Policing Committee
Police Services Board
Public Library Board
Grafton Communal Water Committee
Roseneath Revitalization Committee
Centreton Community Centre

The opportunity to serve as a volunteer on a municipal Board or Community Enhancement Committee offers individuals a unique opportunity to learn about their community, to meet people who have a common interest, and to share knowledge, experience and skills with their fellow citizens in order to enhance the quality of life for everyone.

If you interested in serving your community as a volunteer on any of these committees, please complete and submit the Volunteer Confidentiality Form and Application Form and a valid Vulnerable Sector Police Check, on or before Wednesday, April 24th, 2019.

Application Forms to obtain a “free” Vulnerable Sector Police Check are available at the Municipal Office, as the form will require the Municipal Seal prior to attending the Northumberland OPP Detachment.  Please contact Lois O’Neill Jackson, Deputy Clerk or myself at 905-349-2822.

Submissions will be accepted at address below or placed in drop box at front door:  P.O. Box 70, 10836 County Rd. 2, Grafton, Ontario K0K 2G0.
